Every Saturday night Pantheon Restaurant's yard changes and a feast comes alive  for all of our guest to learn about our customs and traditions.

Kataklismos Paphos  2013!!!

The flood festival is organized every year around Cyprus 50 days after Easter.   The celebration of  Kataklysmos is a Greek Orthodox festival with strong pagan roots relating back to the Greek myth of Deukalion and the ark he built to survive the floods, and ancient ceremonies between Aphrodite and Adonis.

Volunteers of Love

Under the Aegis of the Mayor of Pafor Mr Savva Verga Aliathon Holiaday Village today afternoon hosted a charity Fashion Show in order to donate the earnings in the Kivotos Foundation.

The wedding of the year...

Yesterday we celebrated the most romantic wedding/vow renewal of the year!!! Steven and Sally renewed their vows in the pool in the rain!

Steven suffers from a rare illness and wanted to do something special for his wife to remind her how much he loved her. So Stephen with the help of the staff and management of the Aliathon along with the staff from First Choice and our lovely guests arranged for the ceremony to take place as a surprise for Sally. We picked the date, bought the rings, ordered the flowers and the champagne, helped Steven get ready and yesterday at 14:30, in the  rain, in the pool Steven reminded Sally just how grateful he was to have her in his life.

It was the most touching and romantic gesture we have seen all year and we wish Sally and Steven all the best for their future.

Aliathon Charity day.... Splashathon

Yesterday Aliathon Holiday Village spent the day raising money for charity. The three charities we were fundraising for are Tommy's, NSPCC and Family Holiday Association.

-      TOMMY’s

Tommy’s funds research into pregnancy problems and provides information to parents. They lead the way in maternal and fatal research in the UK. They work to fund medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage. 

-      NSPCC

The NSPCC aims to end cruelty to children in the UK.

-      Family Holiday Association

They work to promote the quality of family life for those parents and children who experience disadvantages as a result of poverty, through the provision of and by promoting access to holidays and other recreational activities. 

We managed to raise just over 1000 Euros as well as raising awareness for the charities. 

A huge THANK YOU to everyone..... 

                                                                                                                                                               Today at the Aliathon Holiday Village a fashion show was held by local schools!

All net earnings will be donated to KIVOTOS foundation which is a charity for children

with special needs.

The show which was held at Aliathon's outdoor venue was a huge success and the venue was flat out.
Well done to everyone involved with making this happen and to all children that took part.

And of course a huge thank you to to all shops involved.
